Total Time: 25 minutes
Servings: 6 servings
2 1/2 cups Krusteaz Pancake Mix
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Oil For Frying
In a large mixing bowl, add eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla, beat well until combined.
Add granulated sugar Krusteaz Pancake Mix, and salt to the liquid mixture and stir to combine. Ingre∂ιєnts should be well incorporated, batter should be the thickness of cake batter, not too runny and not too gooey.
In a heavy-bottomed fry pan, pour around 1 1/2″ to 2″ of oil. Preheat the oil to 375 degrees F. Test oil by dropping a small dot of batter in the pan and it immediately bubbles and sizzles.
Add approximately 1/4 of the batter to a funnel, piping bag or squeeze bottle, with your finger covering the opening until you are ready to dispense it into the oil.
When oil is ready, quickly remove your finger from the funnel/bag/bottle and swirl the batter into the oil, overlapping it on itself, until the batter is fully dispensed.
Fry about 1-2 minutes until the bottom side is golden brown. Then flip and fry the other side, until the second side is golden brown.
Carefully remove from the oil and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
Sprinkle it with powdered sugar, add toppings and serve warm.
