HOW TO MAKE A BLUE VELVET CAKE
Step 1: Prepare a cake tray with baking soda and parchment paper. Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
Use a whisk to beat the butter and sugar.
Mix milk and vanilla together and set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat the flour and baking soda evenly.
Slowly add the milk and dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating. Mix on low until combined.
Using a mixing bowl and another large mixer, beat the eggs until the eggs form hard tops. Then fold in the dough
Step 2: Mix blue gel food coloring until it blends
Divide the dough evenly between the three trays and bake for 23-26 minutes.
Let the cake cool completely before taking it out of the pan.
Step 3: After the cake cools, cut off the arches on each cake.
